Mallorca is the perfect place for a hike or a bike ride whilst taking in the surrounding nature. At Agroturismo Ses Vistes, we like to promote this type of activity, which is why we have drawn up a list of the best trails to enjoy a little hiking on the island. Natural landscapes, coastal trails, local fauna and flora… Get ready for a wonderful experience!
1. From Sant Elm to La Trapa
One of the best hiking trails. Heading downhill along the coastline running from Sant Elm (Andratx) to La Trapa, witness incredible sights and an unrivalled view over Sa Dragonera. It takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes in total and is of a low difficulty.
2. El Camí des Correu
El Camí des Correu links the towns of Esporles and Banyalbufar, and represents an excellent opportunity to enjoy a day out in the Tramuntana mountain range. Tracing the coastline, this trail of a low difficulty measures 8 kilometres in length.
3. Puig des Teix
Undoubtedly one of the most spectacular hiking trails in Mallorca on account of its wonderful views over the Mediterranean. This excursion, of an average difficulty, borders large oak groves. It takes 4 hours and 30 minutes.
4. Can Picafort – Son Real
This outing along the coast includes the unspoilt beach that joins Can Picafort and Son Real. Its main attraction is the necropolis dating back to the 7th century BC, which is located overlooking the sea. It measures 8.5 kilometres in length and takes just over two hours.
